Tarzana Small Business Garners SBA Award
Los Angeles - The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) today
announced the Los Angeles District Office winners of their annual Small
Business Week Awards competition. The Los Angeles SBA Office covers Los
Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties. Tarzana based Home Office
Management Experts, owned by Helene K. Liatsos, was selected as the
Home-Based Business of The Year.
The Award will be presented to Ms. Liatsos at the SBA's
23rd Annual Small Business Week Awards Luncheon to be held from 11:30
A.M. to 1:30 P.M. on Friday, May 25, 2004 at the Millennium Biltmore
Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The luncheon to be presented by Bank of
America is co-sponsored by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and
the SBA with media sponsorship provided by the Los Angeles Business
Journal.
An avid public speaker on the development and effective management of
Home-Based business, Ms. Liatsos established her consulting firm in 1987
and grew it into a national on-line Business Management Company that
today provides Business Services and offers Adult Learning Classes on
starting and successfully managing Home-Based enterprises at three Los
Angeles area colleges.
In 1997, Ms. Liatsos globalized her markets by the
addition of an Internet Course on Successful Home-Based Business
Management tailored for English speaking entrepreneurs outside of the
USA. She is the author of numerous informative articles on Home-Based
commerce and has also been the subject of journalistic pieces
complementing her expertise in this field.
